The big fish eat the small ones (drawing after Bruegel)

Image Description

Few images are as timeless as the drawing "The big fish eat the small" by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. I chose it as a template for this pencil drawing. After my unwanted H6 pencil in the previous drawing, I switched to a B2 this time. It's just not as tiring, especially with the dark dots. Once again, it's all about brightness values. My drawing contains no lines - which in itself is absurd in the medium of drawing. It's like the charcoal drawings of Georg Seurat. Whereby I draw points, which of course have contours. But that doesn't bother me any more.
