Image Description
The pencil drawing shows a "dream house". A modern villa in a Mediterranean setting. Large glass windows, a spacious terrace with a pool, embedded in lush vegetation and flooded with light from the warming rays of the sun.
This drawing is also intended for the revised version of my drawing book. However, it does not show a real villa. I created the template with Midjourney, an image AI. I used specific prompts (inputs) to develop the image template, which I then printed out and drew. Interestingly, the impression of the pencil drawing is much more harmonious and real than the AI template. For some reason, the AI can't handle fine grayscales so well (at least that's my impression). The AI images are too hard and unapproachable. But the universal artistic tool "pencil" can erase this emotional distance.
In the following details, you can clearly see how the spidery pencil strokes come together in the distance to create a coherent overall impression.
