The picture is the result of a digital painting process (see video). It shows a retouch which began with Angela Merkel as the original picture. Through the retouching Merkel was painted over and changed until she finally looks like Paris Hilton.
Angela Dorothea Merkel is the current German Chancellor. She was born on 17 July 1954 in Hamburg as Angela Dorothea Kasner. Since April 10, 2000, she has been the Federal President of the CDU and since November 22, 2005, the German Chancellor. From 1991 to 1994 Angela Merkel was Federal Minister for Women and Youth (Cabinet Kohl IV) and from 1994 to 1998 Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (Cabinet Kohl V). Although Angela Merkel was born in the West (Hamburg), the family moved to the GDR a short time later. There she grew up and studied physics. During the fall of communism in 1989, she became known as a pioneer of "Democratic Awakening. In 1990 she joined the CDU, where she experienced a rapid rise as an East German. In 1994, she was appointed federal minister by helmut Kohl, which came as a complete surprise. A few years later, she used Kohl's courageous distancing to play her way forward as a clean woman and tidy woman in the matted CDU and thus take over the party chairmanship.
